How We Made It Happen
NHL HUT players had no reliable, fast tool to browse the full card database, experiment with team lineups, and calculate chemistry synergies. Existing options were slow, ad-heavy, or missing key features.
Built entirely from scratch — a custom card database with advanced search and filtering, an interactive team builder for constructing full lineups, and a chemistry combo engine that calculates player synergies. All game data is scraped, parsed, and served through a custom API. The UI is designed for speed: instant search, clean card layouts, and zero clutter. Every system — from the database schema to the chemistry logic — was hand-written.
PuckHut is a fast, purpose-built tool for the HUT community. The card database, team builder, and chemistry system work together seamlessly, giving players everything they need to research, plan, and optimize their rosters in one place.
